how do you do it?

How do you go about life, giving it all you can, being the best you can be, but still being humble enough to open that space where something grater than you acts for you?
See, I think that we have to work hard, plan goals and work hard to achieve those goals. But we can't be so innocent. ok.. maybe I should speak for myslef... :)I can not be so innocent to think that it was only me who made it happen.
I always truly believe that there is an element of luck, faith, higher power... that does the rest of the job. I can not be so filled with myself and actually think that it was just me who did it.
Recently, I have been trying to explain this to a loved one and it's been so tiring. He doesn't really acknowledge this idea. Do you have any tips?

the things that will never come back...

Staying up and doing Uni work all night!... ahhh those are the days that will never come back :) hehehe... can u notice that I am a bit delirious? I have been up all night writing my campaign proposal, it is 6:39 am and it is an extremely beautiful chilly morning here in Bournemouth.
I am attaching a picture so you can enjoy the view.

do you fly in your dreams?

Recently someone has been telling me that they dream they can fly. Personally, I have never dreamt this before. Some say that when you dream you have been flying it is in fact because you had an outer body experience. There are some books out there written about the subject. I even came across a person once in Brazil, who took a course on how to lave the body while awake.
The funny thing about it is that almost everyone I know that has had this dream agree that it is a very thrilling experience because it is said to be very, very real. One person said he was just learning to fly in his dream and he had to practice a lot. He would actually feel being lifted a couple of centimeters above the floor and after trying for a while he was able to elevate himself further.
My recommendation: practice! Every night before going to bed, plan a trip. Think of the places you would like to go, or a person who is far away and you would like to see. Have you had any type of experiences like this? I'd like to hear about them. :)

Pure Enjoyment

After 7 months of study and play here in Bournemouth I have come to accept the fact that I will never see some of these marvelous people with whom I have shared. The fact that we were at the same place at the same time, gave us a chance to know each other. We shared, we partied, we had our ups and downs. But you know what's the coolest thing? That the moment you accept the fact that this is only temporary and that you have to move on, that's when other great people start to appear in your life. Out of the blue you start to meet new friends and you realize that it's OK. :)

So, some of my friends are moving to London, some will stay here in Bournemouth over the summer. I still don't know what I am going to do. But on thing is for sure, I will miss this nice little town. I know, I know... wait till the weather gets crap again, right? hehe... The thing is that ocean and sunny weather make all the difference to me. Today we went to this restaurant on the beach, the sun was shinning, we ordered a bottle of Prosseco (Italian white sparkling wine!), and we just sat there enjoying the fact that we are here and now. Not worrying about writing the proposal, not worrying about the job interview, not worrying about housing in London... or anything! How great is that. Sometimes I think I live for these moments. These moments of pure enjoyment. :)

I hope the weather is nice tomorrow. Well, I won't be enjoying it anyway. I have to work and it's not outside.. it's in this old, rundown department store in city center. At least my manager is great! I really like her, she is one of the nicest persons I have met here in Bournemouth. It's funny how I always seem to gravitate towards people that have my same spiritual interests. More on that later...
