How do you go about life, giving it all you can, being the best you can be, but still being humble enough to open that space where something grater than you acts for you?
See, I think that we have to work hard, plan goals and work hard to achieve those goals. But we can't be so innocent. ok.. maybe I should speak for myslef... :)I can not be so innocent to think that it was only me who made it happen.
I always truly believe that there is an element of luck, faith, higher power... that does the rest of the job. I can not be so filled with myself and actually think that it was just me who did it.
Recently, I have been trying to explain this to a loved one and it's been so tiring. He doesn't really acknowledge this idea. Do you have any tips?

Well, personally for me, I can not NOT believe in something. I'm too fragile not to. You see? So I choose to believe in God, or something with capacities like His. I also believe in universal conspiracy, that every time you want something so much, you somehow cause a chain reaction which end up making the whole universe conspires in order to help you achieve it. So, contrary to public opinion, hehe, you ARE the center of the universe. Everyone is. (It may sound crazy, but this is one of the things that somehow makes sense to me.) So there. :)
yes! I believe in universal conspiracy as well... this is a good explanation. Actually, the first time I heard about that theory was in Paulo Coelho's book, The Alchemist. Have you read it. I highly recommend it!
